Education

Education is key to the betterment of society as it invests in future generations. For this reason, CCS is especially proud of its contributions to building education facilities in Central Florida. CCS's experience varies from hardscapes and tilt-wall placement at Orange County Public Schools, to foundations and hardscapes for parking garages at the University of Central Florida. Other services provided include formwork for all types of stairs, cast in place sidewalks, concrete paving, concrete building structures, ramps, retaining walls, and more.

 Memorial Middle School Replacement (2007-2008)

196,157 SF | Orange County Public Schools | Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC.

This project was a renovation / replacement, which expanded the middle school from two to three stories. CCS was subcontracted to perform form, reinforce and pour all cast-in-place concrete for foundations and tilt walls on two buildings, as well as install site concrete and hardscapes.

 Union Park Middle School (2007)

20,000 SF | Orange County Public Schools | McCree General Contractors & Architects

This project was a renovation, which took place while the school maintained full functionality. The renovation encompassed two phases, in which safety and security standards were prioritized to ensure the well-being of students and faculty. CCS was subcontracted to perform tilt-up concrete construction, concrete paving, sidewalks, concrete formwork, concrete reinforcement, cast-in-place concrete, hardscape, tie-beams, and tie columns.

 Audubon Park Elementary School Relief (2006-2007)

120,000 SF | Orange County Public Schools | Centex Construction, LLC

This project was a new construction, built to provide relief to the growing student population at the Old Audubon Park Elementary School. CCS was subcontracted to perform formwork and concrete reinforcement for all cast-in-place concrete and tilt walls.

 UCF Academic Villages Neighborhood #2 (2001-2002)

1,600 Bed | 493,438 SF | University of Central Florida | Centex Rooney / Construct Two, J.V.

This project was a new construction, which provided additional housing for the University of Central Florida's burgeoning student population. CCS was subcontracted to complete all concrete work - including foundations, sidewalks, and hardscape. CCS team members furnished all labor, services, materials, installation, hoisting, supplies, insurance, equipment, scaffolding, tools, and other facilities required for the completion of all concrete work at this Academic Village.
